Job Duties and Responsibilities
As our Senior Compensation Manager, you will manage a team who
administers competitive, equitable, and performance-driven
compensation programs that empower employees to thrive. In this
role, you will provide expert guidance and oversight, ensuring our
compensation policies and practices align with industry trends and
company goals. You will collaborate closely with leadership and
cross-functional teams to implement strategies that enhance
employee satisfaction, support talent acquisition, and drive
retention efforts. Your role will be key in maintaining the
effectiveness and consistency of our compensation programs.Key
Responsibilities:Compensation Strategy: Develop and drive a
comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with business
objectives, supports employee engagement, and maintains market
competitivenessMarket Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research
and salary benchmarking to ensure we stay competitive in attracting
and retaining talent in a variety of job profilesPay Structure
Design: Align and manage base pay structures, incentive plans, and
bonus programs that motivate performance and reward resultsEquity
Management: Partner with Accounting to oversee equity compensation
programs, including ESPP, stock option grants and long-term
incentive plans, ensuring alignment with company goalsCompliance
and Policy: Partner with Legal to ensure all compensation programs
comply with legal requirements, while also aligning with company
policies, philosophy, and goalsCollaboration and Influence: Work
closely with HR teams, Finance, and department leaders to ensure
solutions meet both business and employee needsData-Driven
Insights: Leverage analytics to create reports, forecasts, and
models that inform executive leadership on compensation-related
decisions and provide strategic insightLeadership and Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to HR and broader teams on
compensation-related topics, staying ahead of market trends and
best practicesManagerial Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Lead a
team of compensation analysts, providing direction, feedback, and
support for success and developmentPerformance Management: Set team
objectives, monitor progress, and provide coaching to enhance
individual and team performanceTalent Development: Promote
continuous learning and career growth through training and
development opportunitiesProject Management: Oversee multiple
compensation projects, ensuring accurate and timely completion as
well as alignment with business goalsResource Allocation:
Efficiently allocate team resources to meet both operational and
strategic needs
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources,
Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
MBA preferred5+ years of experience in compensation management or
related roles, with proven expertise in developing compensation
strategies -Skills and Qualifications:Strong analytical skills,
with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to
make informed decisionsExperience in designing, analyzing and
managing various compensation programs, including base pay, bonus
structures, equity plans as well as incentive compensation plans to
include sales compensationExpertise in compensation software, job
evaluation systems, and toolsExcellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts
for various audiencesStrong knowledge of labor laws, pay equity
regulations, and compliance standardsA strategic mindset with a
passion for driving company success through innovative compensation
practices
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
